One day in November, I looked my husband in the eye and said words I never thought would come out of my mouth. “Under no circumstances should you allow me to buy any more Christmas trees this year”. His reply? “Done”.
You see, I have a Christmas tree of some sort in every room of the house. Even the laundry room! That’s 7 trees {not counting the bottle brush, glass and ceramic trees of course}. It’s a disease.
The after-Christmas sales got me one last time this past January, and another adorable white tree practically jumped into my arms…..for only $9! It even came with ornaments!
I kinda forgot about it between January and December…and I rolled my eyes at myself when I found it in my garage. All’s well that ends well, though — and this little cutie looks awesome in our office!
I arranged the Christmas ornaments that came with it in a color-blocked pattern. I had a faux lamb skin from Ikea for a future project on hand — which makes a lovely tree skirt!
The tree topper was another post-Christmas sale find, at Walgreens of all places! It’s a nice throw back to Christmases past, and its colored lights coordinate so well with the vibrant bulbs.
Does anyone else have a sick obsession with Christmas trees like me? How many are in your house?
